What This Boston Job Fair Is, and Who It's For

Best Hire pitches the fair at a wide audience: people looking for a new job, changing careers, coming back to work after time away, or trying to take the next step in their field. There are no stated eligibility rules, no membership requirement and no student-only catch. If you can get to Allston on a Wednesday at midday, you can go.

The organizer says employers at its Boston fairs hire across technology, biotech, healthcare, education, finance, hospitality and professional services, from entry level to experienced roles. That range fits the region: the hospitals around Longwood, the lab buildings in Kendall Square and the Seaport, the universities on both sides of the river and the hotels that fill up every convention week.

⚠️ Read This Before You Go: The Employer List Is Still Blank

As of today, the event page says employer logos will appear as participating companies sign on. None are listed yet. Best Hire's Boston page shows logos from past fairs, including Hyatt, TSA, the U.S. Army and Navy, Sunrun and Somerville Public Schools, but those are not confirmed for November 4. Don't plan your day around one company until its name shows up on the event page. Check again the week of the fair.

No phone number is published for the organizer. Questions go through the Best Hire contact form.

📋 How to Show Up Ready

  • Register first. Best Hire says space is limited and recommends signing up early. Use the official registration link.
  • Bring several printed resumes, a folder to carry them, and a notepad and pen. All three are on the organizer's own list.
  • Dress business or business casual. That's the organizer's recommendation.
  • Arrive early in the window. It's only a three-hour window, and recruiters have more time for each conversation before the room fills up.
  • Plan the trip. The hotel sits off Soldiers Field Road near the Mass Pike's Allston exits. The organizer doesn't mention parking, so confirm with the hotel before you drive.

If you'd rather not wait until November, October still has several Boston hiring events on the calendar, including a South End career fair on October 29. Our fall Boston job fairs guide has every one of them. Different organizers, different rules, so read each listing.
